Precious Giftz, Inc. was developed by Founder and Executive Director, LaNinia Deamer (a.k.a Ms. Nina), in the summer of 2008. She has a desire to help young women be all that they can be despite their circumstances. She has had to overcome her own adversities and she believes that having a foundation rooted in spiritual values and practical principles is the key to helping young women and all people realize their greatness and who they were ultimately created to be. 

 

Originally from Albany, NY, having resided in several states along the east coast and abroad throughout her life, she has had her share of life experiences. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and completed post-baccalaureate certification work in Elementary Education from North Carolina A&T State University (AGGIE PRIDE!) in Greensboro, NC.   In 2013, she received her Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Walden University in Minneapolis MN. She has also completed Post-Graduate work in Clinical Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counseling. She is a Certified Peer Support Specialist and a Qualified Professional in Behavioral Health. She is a creative soul... She is a published author of fiction and children's books, an actress, former print model and singer. She has called Charlotte, NC home since 2005.

 

Being a mother herself, the success of young women and children are her passion. Helping people overcome obstacles and realizing their ultimate potential is the seed that was planted in her heart to share with as many people as she possibly can.

 

She has a very solid team of volunteers, behavioral health professionals, consultants and a board of directors that help in the operation of the programs offered.
